The flexible schedule allows you to enjoy the convention while getting all the benefits of a volunteer. See what goes into making a convention run and the people you meet could become friends for life.

Volunteer Guidelines

After you finish registering and have your badge for your convention stay, contact Elise and sign up for however many hours you would like to contribute to the con. The more hours you contribute, the better your rewards will be!

Hours may be split between all the days of the con, although it looks like we'll need the most help on Saturday so we encourage you to check your Saturday schedule. You may cosplay during your volunteer time, provided your cosplay falls within con guidelines (remember, you are part of the con when you volunteer, so keep everything tasteful and appropriate!). Also, if you are running a panel (or panels), your panel(s) will count towards your hours worked.

We have two levels of volunteering, Adult and Junior, so you can help out no matter how old or young you are. Below are the various levels of perks based on the hours you help out.

Adult Volunteers (17+):

4 hrs: pin & Pocky
8 hrs: pin & green room access
10 hrs: pin, green room access, qualify for crash space -or- free registration next year
12 hrs: pin, green room access, T-shirt, qualify for crash space -or- free registration next year
16 hrs: pin, green room access, T-shirt, qualify for crash space & free registration next year

Junior Volunteers (16 & under):

4 hrs: pin & Pocky
8 hrs: pin & green room access
10 hrs: pin, green room access, free registration next year
12 hrs: pin, green room access, T-shirt, free registration next year

Crash Space:

Crash space is available to adult volunteers on a first-come, first-served basis. Junior volunteers must have their own accommadations with a parent or other adult. Rooms will be separate for male and female volunteers. Volunteers are eligible for crash space after signing up for ten hours of volunteer time over the weekend.
